CTMA Executive Director, Robert Cattle, attends ISTMA Board of Director’s Meeting

The ISTMA Board of Directors meeting took place in Milan (Italy), on January 30 and 31, 2017, organized in close cooperation with UCISAP – the Italian National Association. Arranged to prepare the next world meeting and General Assembly in Brazil, this meeting was extended to a few guests with an historic knowledge of ISTMA invited to provide inputs to the strategy for the next period. There was a total of 12 representatives attending this meeting from countries that included Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Finland, Italy, Portugal, South Africa and the USA


Each regional ISTMA (Americas, Asia and Europe) prepares a report twice a year about the business conditions in the industry, based on data collected at the company level in the semester by the ISTMA national associations through structured data collection procedures on a voluntary company basis. All the full reports are available free for all the members of ISTMA national associations.

CTMA Executive Director, Robert Cattle, attends ISTMA World Tooling Conference in Brazil

The ISTMA World Tooling Conference began on June 28th with a General Assembly meeting attended by representatives from 12 countries. These included Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, Finland, Germany, Japan, Portugal, Slovenia, South Africa, Turkey and the United States. Japan and China were formally introduced as new members and it was announced that the next ISTMA World Tooling Conference will be held in Shanghai, China in 2020. The China Die  Mould Industry Association has just over 1,200 members, from approximately 20,000 tool shops that operate within their country.
